Sister Inez' Spanish class, Father-Daughter Dances, mini-courses, the myth about the swimming pool on the roof (definitely meant for the frosh), the Bellarmine streaker, and the messy mimeograph machine!

I was senior class moderator and Religion teacher from 1973-1975. It was a very happy time for me. I loved my students and was honored when the Class of 1974 asked me to give their graduation address. While at Presentation, I became engaged. It was a bittersweet time because I loved Presentation, but I left to marry the love of my life.

I have so many great memories. I vividly recall: dissecting a frog and mink in Mrs. Toussi's Biology class and finding it so fascinating; Mrs. Landry's colorful descriptions of body parts in Anatomy class...

Masses in the courtyard, Community Involvement club and religion with Sr. Pam stand out when I recall PHS. And I will always fondly remember Kermit, our class mascot, and the Class of '83 winning the spirit trophy (four years in a row, if memory serves).

Father-Daughter Dances, lunches on the grass in the courtyard, rolling the skirt up, boxers, knee-high socks, Sister Joan's and Sister Marian's English classes, just too many to name, all in all a great 4 years...

One of my favorite memories was decorating the halls during Spirit Week and trying to outdo our Big or Little Sisters. One year each class mascot was a different character from Winnie the Pooh. The juniors made a forest that covered the ceiling and floors. The school was transformed!

In Sister Raphael's freshman religion class, I was listening to "He's So Fine" being played at the resident care facility next door when Sister asked me the name of the two people mentioned in the first book of Genesis. I replied: "Ferdinand and Isabella." Sister Raphael's eyeglasses fell off her face as she fell back against the chalkboard!

I remember the assemblies and skits where the teachers were just as likely to join in the fun on stage as well. And the year some Bellarmine boys streaked the school during lunch!

Getting to see the beautiful statue of Mary in the courtyard each day. May Day was my favorite celebration - especially seeing Mary crowned with beautiful flowers.

I'm thinking about the day we had to evacuate the chemistry lab because someone who will remain unnamed used a 2 hole stopper instead of a 1 hole stopper and flooded the lab with noxious gas.

As the 11th girl in my family to attend Pres, I knew I'd be in for a very special experience and hoped to leave those four walls with the blessings of the women who attended before me. I could have never imagined just how special it was...

I will never forget how we decorated the "dark room" (where photo developing was taught) for Halloween - we had some pretty scary times. Vatican II began and religious education changed forever.

I don't think I've ever laughed harder than during Feast. There's nothing better than watching teachers make complete fools of themselves purely for entertainment.
