Called to Forgiveness
Your daughter is invited to attend one of our two Sophomore Retreats. She will enjoy her first opportunity to attend an off campus retreat with members of her Sophomore Class. This retreat is held at the beautiful Presentation Center in Los Gatos and is led by our peer ministry team, campus ministers, and faculty. She will get an opportunity to take some time out from her busy schedule to reflect on the important relationships in her life and how patience, understanding and forgiveness can strengthen those ties. The sessions offer small and large group discussions, community building activities, prayer experiences, and free time to relax. This special day will end with a prayer service that offers the opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The retreat is open to and enriched by all faith traditions. Students will depart Presentation at 8:15 am and return to campus at 5:00 pm that evening.

* Because we make reservations with retreat centers more than a year in advance and pay in full four weeks prior to the retreat, if your daughter drops after the “final drop date” for her retreat, we will charge you an administrative fee to offset what we have paid for your daughter to attend. The fee for sophomore retreat is $35. If your daughter drops within four weeks of the retreat, we will be contacting you to pay this fee. Please make your check payable to Presentation High School and write “Sophomore Retreat” in the memo line. The Sacred Journey
Your daughter is invited to attend one of our two Junior Retreats. She will not want to miss this opportunity to attend her first overnight retreat with members of her Junior Class. This retreat is held off campus at the beautiful Presentation Center in Los Gatos and is led by our peer ministry team, campus ministers, and faculty. Juniors will have a chance to reflect on the importance of finding the sacred in their day to day lives. Special focus will be given to experiencing a variety of prayer styles and reflecting on how to prioritize their lives to allow for a more meaningful and peaceful journey though the remaining high school years. The sessions offer retreat talks led by senior peer ministers on the topics of prayer, faith, integrity and service. Students will spend time participating in small and large group discussions, community building activities and given plenty of free time to reflect and relax. The retreat is open to and enriched by all faith traditions. Students will depart Presentation at 8:15 a.m. on the first day and return to campus at 4:30 p.m. the following evening.

You are Called by God

This retreat is held off campus at the beautiful Jesuit Retreat Center in Los Altos and is led by both campus ministers and faculty members. During this retreat, seniors will have a chance to reflect on how God is calling them in their present lives as well as how they will respond to that call. Faculty members share personal experiences to help students to understand the concept of God’s call, how God calls them through various people in their lives, how to discern God’s call, and how to respond to God’s call, especially in times of challenge. Students participate in small and large group discussions, community building activities and enjoy plenty of free time to reflect and relax. The retreat is open to and enriched by all faith traditions. Students will depart Presentation at 8:15 am on the first day and return to campus at 5 pm the following evening.
