"Legally Blonde" comes to the Valenzuela Theater

The smash Broadway hit Legally Blonde comes to Presentation for a three-weekend run starting Saturday, Nov. 3. A cast of 45 performers and over 30 technicians will present this fast-paced, entertaining show, which will feature more than 20 sets and hundreds of original costumes created by student and parent volunteers.

Swim-a-thon on Oct. 18

Presentation High School presents the 7th annual Swim To Remember swim-a-thon, which raises money for the Claire Buchser Memorial Scholarship and Breast Cancer Connections, which provides support, counseling and guidance. The event will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18, and all are invited to participate.

ITS presents Concert for Kids

The International Thespian Society will present its annual benefit on Thursday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. in the Valenzuela Theater. The Concert For Kids will raise money for The Innocence Mission, which is dedicated to protecting children and working to end sexual abuse.

Presentation wins two theater awards

Presentation's rendition of Phantom of the Opera collected a few more accolades this week at the 2012 Stage Top Honor Awards. Performing Arts Director Jim Houle won in the Scenic Design category, while Amanda Camillo '12 and volunteer Cynthia Rose were honored in Hair/Make-Up Design.
