Scheduling instructions for students and parents
We want to help our students select the best possible schedule, so we have made available online important dates, proposed new courses, academic policies, and course descriptions to help in this process. Each student will complete a Course Request Form through her PowerSchool account. On this electronic form, the student will indicate courses she wishes to take next year, indicating alternates in some areas. Using this information, we will create a schedule. Both the student and parent will view this schedule, print it, and sign off on it. Ultimately, every student will get all the classes she needs to meet the PHS graduation and college admission requirements.
Each academic department has a list of course descriptions along with prerequisites and new course offerings. You also may want to look at non-departmental courses, course policies, and summer school information, as well as the documents listed on the right side of this page.
If you have specific questions regarding your daughter’s schedule, please call her mentor at 264-1664 and leave a detailed message. The mentor will return your call within 24 hours.
