Presentation is proud of its longtime traditions, some of which date back to the school's founding in 1962. These special events lie at the heart of our school community.
Big/Little Sister Program – At Freshman Orientation new students are placed in groups led by an upper-class student leader, a "Big Sister" who will help them adjust to high school life and serve as a support, friend and confidant during the freshman's first year at Presentation. Big and Little Sisters participate in four fun events during the school year that include crafts, lunch and holiday-themed activities.
Class Day – A finale to their four years in high school, the seniors assemble for a Mass in their honor. Installation of officers, conferring of awards, presentation of the Spirit Trophy, and the Senior Farewell are followed by a senior luncheon hosted by the sophomores. (May)
Confirmation – Every other year, confirmation is offered for juniors and seniors who feel they are ready to receive this sacrament. (Spring)
Dances – Lasting memories are created at the annual Black and White Charity Ball, Father Daughter Dance and, of course, Prom. At one time, a back-to-school mixer for freshmen was held every other year. But today the student council puts on several fun mixers every year.
