New Board of Directors Priorities

Dear Presentation Community,

I am honored to serve as the new Chair of Presentation High School’s Board of Directors, and look forward to helping heal, unite, and grow this incredible community. As an alumna I have firsthand experience of  how exceptional this place can be.  With that being said, the Sisters have entrusted us with this important work, and I am looking forward to getting started.

This past month we have spent time together as a board for the first time to pray together, deepen our understanding of the Presentation charism, and discuss our immediate next steps and priorities for the year.

Although many of us previously served as Regents together, we have made new commitments and are excited to chart a course forward for Pres. For that reason our immediate priorities include:

  • Recruitment and Diversification of the Board

    • Create and launch a robust member recruitment process

    • Ensure our board better represents our diverse community to bring new voices and new ideas

  • Solidifying Existing and Forming New Sub-Committees

    • Develop and adapt board committees and structures to address current and future school needs

    • Add community members and experts to committees as needed

  • Long-term Sustainability and Strategic Planning

    • Rigorous review of systemic policies and practices to ensure the safety of all students

    • Build a multi-year strategic plan for the future of Pres together with our community

The school has undergone a tremendous amount of change in the past two years, and together with Holly and the Pres leadership team, we are committed to ensuring the health and safety of our students and that any past mistakes are not repeated.

Nano Nagle, our foundress, said, “If I could be of any service in saving souls in any part of the globe, I would willingly do all in my power.” We honor her spirit and are here to serve and lead, and build upon the foundation of the great work that has been started. We look forward to working in partnership with you as we continue this important mission.

In partnership,
