Arcadia, CA - The Presentation Panthers competed at the 52nd Annual Arcadia Invitational this past weekend and the "Home of National Records" meet and did not disappoint. Numerous nation leading marks and one national record were posted as 730 teams from 31 states as well as Canada, Norway, and Mexico competed in the two-day affair.

In the Girls Invitational Pole Vault, Senior Isabella Grant set a new personal record

as she cleared 13 feet, 1 inches to finish in a three-way tie for third. Grant's mark is an improvement on her previous best mark of 13 feet from 2018 and ranks second on Presentation's All-Time List. Grant took three attempts at 13 feet, 5 inches (which would have been a new school record) but was unable to clear the bar. Her mark of 13 feet, 1 inches is currently the second best mark in the Central Coast Section (CCS), sixth best in California, and fifteenth best in the United States.

Junior Gianna Mendoza continued her stellar season as she finished third in the Girls 3200M Rated Section 2 race with a time of 10:44.09. Mendoza's time moves her to third on Presentation's All-Time List and is currently the second best mark in the CCS and nineteenth in California. Video of Mendoza's race can be found here:

Mendoza also competed in the Girls Distance Medley Open Section 2 race along with teammates Audrey James (Sr), Jolie Slack (So), and Bianca Mantovani (Sr). The team ran a time of 13:01.76 to finish 25th overall and set a new season's best mark. Video of the Distance Medley can be found here:
