Pres Alum Awarded The Terman Scholastic Engineering Award

Congratulations to Pres Alum, Maya Varma, for being awarded "The Terman Award" from the Stanford Engineering department.

This Scholastic Award is presented to the top 30 students of each year's undergraduate senior engineering class. Maya is studying computer science (with a focus on artificial intelligence) and a minor in electrical engineering at Stanford University.

Terman scholars attend a celebratory luncheon and invite the most influential secondary school or other pre-college teacher who guided them during the formative stages of their academic career.

Maya currently works as a researcher at the Wall Lab and the Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Imaging. Her research interests include algorithm design, artificial intelligence, healthcare technology, and smart devices.

We are so proud of your accomplishments, Maya! Congratulations!
