Presentation will be hosting a screening of the film, ANGST, a recent documentary designed to help raise awareness around anxiety on May 15th (note NEW DATE) from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Valenzuela Theater. This is a community event RSVP Here.
According to Child Mind Institute, one-third of adolescents and adults in the United States (that we know of) have been diagnosed with some type of anxiety disorder. It’s key that we break the stigma and open up the conversation about mental health.
"Angst captures what so many people are suffering in these complicated days: the bullying, perfectionism, panic, obsession, and too often, hopelessness. Angst is cathartic and ends with notes of hope. Every school needs to experience this program. It's that important."
