Each fall, Presentation High School participates in High School Information Nights held throughout the Diocese of San Jose. These evening events allow you to learn more about our school and meet some of our students. No advanced registration is required for the High School Information Nights, however we do ask for registration for the Presentation Information Night in October.

Presentation offers four Application Workshops a year for prospective students.
During the workshops, admissions staff guide students step-by-step through the online application and answer any questions the students might have. Current Presentation students are also available to provide assistance.

The high school admissions process is all about finding the school that is the best fit for you. You want a partner in education that inspires, empowers and nurtures its students and their unique gifts. We invite you to get to know Presentation and all we offer during our annual Open House.
Open House begins with check-in at the Presentation gym, located in the Athletic Complex. You will be given a ticket to hear the principal's remarks in the Valenzuela Theater, and you'll have the opportunity to sign up for a campus tour. You'll also be able to pick from a variety of sessions and panels on academics, student activities, college counseling and more. Plus, you'll get to meet our department chairs, faculty, and coaches.

Our shadow program pairs eighth graders with current freshmen or sophomores. The girls attend classes and eat lunch together. Shadow visitors enjoy a free lunch at our school cafeteria and receive a Presentation backpack stuffed with goodies. Each shadow will also earn a stamp in her Presentation Passport! There isn't a better way to experience the Presentation community!
On the day of your shadow visit, prospective students will meet their hostesses in the Reception Room (located in the room to the immediate right of the main campus doors) between 7:15-7:30 a.m. Shadows will receive Presentation backpacks filled with information and a ticket for a free lunch. Shadows will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m.

Especially designed for seventh graders and their families, 7th Grade Day gives an overview of Presentation's academic offerings, student activities and social life.
Students are welcomed to campus with a dessert social hosted by Presentation faculty and students. The social is followed by mini courses (10-15 minutes each), a campus tour, and a showcase of our co-curricular programs including the Presentation Dance Team, Bella Voce and Cantabile choirs, Athletics and Speech and Debate.
At Presentation High School, we get really excited about the Christmas season. One of the ways we celebrate in our community is through our drives for Sacred Heart. Our Student Council and Presentation Ambassadors Club invite you to join us in a celebration of music, photos with Panther (our mascot), games, activities, sweet treats and hot chocolate on December 6 from 3:30 - 5:00 in our Student Center.
If possible, we ask that you bring a toy to donate to Sacred Heart. We will be collecting toys that week for children ages 0-17. Gift cards are also acceptable for the teens.
If you are interested in having some fun and attending the Christmas Party, please sign up by Friday, November 30.
Please only register for this event if you plan on attending. We will purchase supplies based on the "yes" RSVPs we recieve.

Applications are available online by clicking here. Submitted applications are charged a non-refundable application fee of $70. Payment is processed by Visa, MasterCard and Discover only.
Incoming Ninth Graders
Applications for incoming ninth grade students must be submitted online by midnight on Jan. 18, 2017.
Transfer applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Transfer students are only accepted at the start of an academic term,
The entrance exam for the Catholic High Schools in the Diocese of San Jose must be taken by all eighth grade applicants on one of the designated Saturdays. Applicants applying to more than one Catholic high school in the Diocese of San Hose may take the exam only once.
Students should take the examination at the school they are most interested in attending. Scores may be sent to other high schools in the Diocese as requested by the applicant on the day of the entrance examination.

Students should arrive at the testing site no later than 8:30 a.m. and will have completed their exam at approximately 12:00 p.m..
Please print the school recommendation form, fill out the applicant section and give it to your teacher, school counselor or principal. The form should be mailed directly from your school to Presentation by Feb. 7, 2018. One letter of recommendation per applicant is required.
At Presentation, applying for admission and applying for financial aid are two separate processes that are independent of one another. Presentation has a "need-blind" admissions policy; a student's financial background is not considered during the enrollment process.
Please visit the financial aid page on the Presentation website for more information about tuition and financial assistance. The application for financial aid will be available online in mid-December.
Financial aid applications are due to FACTS by Feb. 6, 2017. It is important for families to read the instructions and meet all deadlines. Incomplete and late forms will seriously jeopardize your request for financial aid.
