Audition and Tryout Information

Fall Sports Tryouts:
Tryouts for Fall sports are expected to begin on Monday, August 7. Most sports will continue tryouts through Friday, August 11. Attendance is mandatory at each of the tryout dates shown in the schedule. The Fall Tryout Schedule is expected to be posted to the Athletics webpage by the beginning of June.

Choir:

Cantabile (Beginning Choir): Students can sign up for this course without an audition
Bella Voce (Advanced Choir): Audition workshop: Monday, May 8 @ 3:45- 5:00 p.m. Auditions: May 9-11 @ 3:30-5:30 p.m. ( sign ups for time slots will be available soon).

Dance:

Dance Team Audition Meeting: Tuesday, May 2 @ 6:30 p.m. in the Dance Studio Audition Clinics: May 15-17 @ 4:00-6:30 p.m. Auditions: Friday, May 19 @ 4:00 p.m.
Audition Prep Class: 5 week session to prepare for auditions March 20, 27, April 3,17, May 1 @ 6:30-8:00 p.m. Register here.

Summer Reading

Summer Reading Book Announcement!
We are proud to announce our selection of Braiding Sweetgrass for Young Adults: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants by Robin Wall Kimmerer, adapted by Monique Gray Smith, as our summer reading book.

In alignment with our school's focus next year on the environment and care for creation, this book speaks to the interconnectedness between all living things and the call to nurture our relationship with the earth, while drawing from Indigenous wisdom.

Each student is asked to read this book by Tuesday, August 15. Check out your local retailer, online, or the library too!

Booklist

Textbook requirements for the 2023-2024 school year will be available Wednesday, July 5, 2023 on our website. Students must be logged into their school Google account in order to view this document. Presentation has partnered with BNC K-12 Services/MBS to supply the majority of course requirements. This is the quickest and most complete process to purchase most of your student’s print and digital items all at once.

FREE SHIPPING will be offered by MBS during July 17-23 for orders over $99. Please email textbooks@presentationhs.org if you have any questions.
