As a new family, we know you have many questions and want to learn how to get involved, so this webpage is your source for all the great information that will guide you through the next few months. Make sure to keep an eye on this page because we will be making updates regularly. We can’t wait to take this journey with you!

Tryouts for Fall Sports are expected to begin on Monday, August 11, 2025. Most sports will continue tryouts through Friday, August 15, 2025. Attendance is mandatory at each of the tryout dates. The full Fall Tryout Schedule with the exact times of the sessions is expected to be posted to the Athletics webpage by the beginning of June.

Bella Voce (Advanced Choir I/II)
Bella Voce is Presentation’s auditioned choral ensemble, performing at festivals and events throughout the year. Rehearsals require strong music skills, including sight singing and solfege. A mandatory summer camp runs June 23–27, 9 AM–1 PM in Room 100. Participation includes a fee and a yearlong commitment.

If you are interested in joining Bella Voce, there are two steps you must complete:

1. Mark that you will be auditioning for Choir when you complete your scheduling guide.
2. Sign-up and complete the audition process.

If you are not selected for the Choir your second choice will be inserted in your schedule. Please see the information below regarding auditions.

• Pre-Audition Student and Parent Meeting: Monday, May 5th at 7:00 p.m. in Room 100
• Required Choir Clinic: Tuesday, May 6th at 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Room 100
• Required Choir Clinic: Wednesday, May 7th at 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Room 100
• Audition: Thursday, May 8th at 3:30 to 6:00pm. in Room 100.

Presentation High School offers a variety of music programs, including Cantabile (Beginning Choir I/II), Mass Hysteria (Liturgical Band & Choir), Voice and Music Theory I/II, String Ensemble (Advanced Strings I/II), and Tri-M Music Honor Society, providing opportunities for students of all skill levels to grow as musicians and performers. Rehearsal schedules vary by program, and we encourage families to visit our Music Program webpage for more information.

Dance Team

If you are interested in joining Dance there are two steps you must complete:

1. Mark that you will be auditioning for Dance Team when you complete your scheduling guide
2. Sign-up and complete the audition process

If you are not selected for the Dance Team your second choice will be inserted in your schedule. Please see the information below regarding auditions.

• Dance Team Audition meeting: Tuesday April 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Dance Studio
• Dance Team Audition clinics: May 5 through 7 at 4:00-6:30 p.m.
• Dance Team Auditions: May 9 at 4:00 p.m.

Dance Company

Dance Company is our non audition, non competitive dance team. These dancers meet twice a week, Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30-4;30. They learn and perform choreography performed at school events. Sign ups will be in August for this program.

Jazba

Interested in Bollywood? We are very excited to announce auditions for the 25–26 Jazba team. Jazba is a South Asian dance team specialized in many dance forms such as Bollywood, Bhangra, hip hop, and classical.

All students of different ethnic and dance backgrounds are encouraged to audition! Jazba is a great opportunity for immersing yourself in South Asian culture while gaining beneficial collaboration skills through performances/competitions with other schools, team bonding events, rallies, and more!

• Jazba Audition Clinic: September 2 & 4 from 5–7 p.m.
• Jazba Audition: September 5 at 10 a.m.

Folklorico

Folklórico is a traditional and cultural dance that originates from México. All students from different ethnic backgrounds can join. It is a fun way to learn dances and experience the culture through dance. We specialize in the region of Jalisco but may learn choreography from other regions of México as well.

Folklórico is Presentation’s non-auditioned, non- competitive dance affinity team. The dancers meet once a week for practice on Fridays right after school for 2 hours and twice during performance weeks. They will learn and perform choreography at cultural and non-cultural events throughout the school year. These include: rallies, spirit days, open house, christmas in the park, Las Posadas, Dia de los Muertos, Global Village with Bellarmine and more!

The Fall Audition Workshop is an opportunity for students to learn about Theater at Presentation. They will meet the artistic staff, learn about the overall production process, and practice some audition skills. This workshop is an optional introductory event for any of Presentation's Mainstage Theater Productions.

Theater Introduction: August 15 4:00- 6:00 p.m.

The following week, students will have their first opportunity to audition for a Mainstage Production- the Fall Musical. The Fall Musical is a no-cut show, meaning that all students who meet the time commitment and academic requirements will be cast in a role, regardless of experience and skill level. It is a great way to try out the theater experience. The remaining Mainstage Productions, the Winter Musical and Spring Play, may have cuts based on casting needs. 

• Fall Musical Auditions: August 18 & 19 from 4-7 p.m.
• Fall Musical Callbacks: August 20 from 4-7 p.m.
• Winter Production Auditions: November 17 & 18 from 4- 7 p.m.
• Winter Productions Callbacks: November 19 from 4-7 p.m.
• Spring Play Auditions: Feb. 9 & 10 from 4-7 p.m.
• Spring Play Callbacks: February 11 from 4-7 p.m.

The ASB/Student Council Leadership class is for students that want to be on Student Council. This class is designed to promote leadership skills at all levels.
