Eighth Grade
You are a Decision Maker: It is time to solidify your choice for high school. There will be many opportunities to make sure PHS is the best fit for you.

Presentation Ambassadors Club (PAC) Buddy A Presentation Ambassadors Club (PAC) Buddy will be assigned to walk you through admissions at Presentation throughout your 8th grade year. Your buddy will invite you to events, check-in with you throughout the year, and answer any questions you have about Presentation.

Virtual High School Information Nights September and October
Catholic Middle Schools Sept. 15, 16, 17, 21, 22 & 23 - These High School Information Nights are hosted through the Diocese of San Jose and are open to any families whose students currently attend a Catholic school. During this event you will have a chance to explore several Catholic High Schools in our area through video and meet with our Admissions Director and students to learn about all Presentation has to offer your daughter.
Private Middle Schools Oct. 1 - This High School Information Night is open to families whose students currently attend a private middle school. At this event you will hear from our Principal, current parents and students, and Admissions Director to learn more about Presentation and all it has to offer your daughter.
Public Middle Schools Oct. 7 - This High School Information Night is open to families whose students currently attend a public middle school. At this event you will hear from our Principal, current parents and students, and our Admissions Director to learn more about Presentation and all it has to offer your daughter.

High School Entrance Exam Jan. 9 and Jan. 23 - The entrance exam for the Catholic High Schools in the Diocese of San Jose must be taken by all eighth grade applicants on one of the designated Saturdays.

For Parents
Once your daughter becomes a Panther we provide support as she navigates new experiences and opportunities. These parent sessions will give you a look into all that lies ahead for your daughter and will begin the partnership that we will share in developing your daughter into an empowered and prepared young woman.
A Parent's Guide to Pres: Virtual Events
Achieving Academic Success
September 28, 2020 - During this session you will hear from our Vice Principal of Teaching and Learning, Educational Specialist, and Academic Dean on our academic philosophy and how you can support your student during their transition to high school.
Student Involvement Outside of the Classroom
October 13, 2020 - Presentation offers unrivaled co-curricular programs in Athletics, leadership, Robotics, Theater, Science and Math Academy, Dance, Choir, and Speech and Debate. During this session you will learn more about these programs and how your daughter can get involved beyond the classroom to explore and define her interests.
Student Wellness
November 17, 2020 - This parent session will highlight our comprehensive student support program. Hear from our counseling department on the services they provide students and learn more about our student wellness program.
College Counseling
December 8, 2020 - Our College Counseling department offers comprehensive support for families as they navigate the college admissions process. Learn more about how these counselors will work with you during your daughter's time at Presentation to help her find the perfect place to continue her academic journey.
Navigating Adolescence
January 21, 2021 - Navigating adolescence can be challenging and rewarding at the same time. As your daughter transitions from middle school to high school, our goal is to help in the journey during those years. In this session, we will go over norms and best practices for parents and their adolescent daughters as they learn how to become independent thinkers and make responsible decisions that pave the way for a promising and bright future.
