A First Step into the Pres Experience
Inspiring Middle School Students to Dream Big, Lead Boldly, and Belong Fully

Panther Pathways is a free enrichment program for middle school students, designed to spark curiosity and introduce them to the vibrant community at Presentation High School. Through fun, hands-on workshops led by expert faculty, students explore passions in STEM, the arts, wellness, and more—all in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Whether you're exploring future high school options or simply want to try something new, Panther Pathways is a perfect first step into the Pres experience.

Spring Program Offerings

Art with Heart: Creative Wellness Workshop

Semester Offered: Fall, Winter, Spring 

Spring Dates: April 1, April 15, April 22, April 29, May 6 

Showcase: May 13 

Time: 3:30-5:00 p.m. 

Program Leaders: Carmen Pauls Wiens, Wellness Center Coordinator & Yvette Frojelin, School Counselor 

Ready to dream, make, create, and enjoy? Join Panther Pathways for Art with Heart, a five session creative wellness experience that blends culinary arts, mindfulness, and hands-on artistic expression. Together students will explore the kitchen, garden, and Wellness Center through activities like watercolor painting, rug braiding, journaling, baking, flower arranging, loom art, and more. Each session invites students to slow down, connect with others , and practice mindfulness while cooking, creating, and eating. Through playful, meaningful experiences, students will build community, express themselves creatively, and discover the joy of caring for both mind and body. 

Mic Drop: Podcasting & Storytelling

Program Leader: Jacob Frimmersdorf, Technical Theater Director

In this creative, media-focused session, students learn how to find their voice and share their stories through podcasting. Working alongside Jacob Frimmersdorf, our Technical Theatre Director, students brainstorm ideas, write scripts, and learn the basics of recording and editing audio. Along the way, students build confidence in communication, practice collaboration, and discover how storytelling can foster empathy, connection, and community in an engaging, hands on environment. 

Step Up: Dance Dynamics & Technique

Time: 4:00pm-5:30pm


Program Leader: Sara Fugate, Dance Director

Join us for an energizing movement experience where students build confidence, coordination, and self-expression through dance. Guided by our award-winning Dance Director and Performing Arts Director Sara Fugate, participants explore rhythm, technique, and teamwork while learning fun choreography and movement games. Through creative routines, guided warm-ups, and group challenges, students strengthen their bodies, boost their mood, and discover the joy of moving together. This session blends fitness, creativity, and community to help students feel empowered, connected, and confident on and off the dance floor. 

Strong Foundations: Strength & Fitness

Program Leader: Veronica Delaney, Assistant Athletic Director for Strength & Conditioning 

Students will discover how building physical strength supports confidence, focus, and overall well-being. Led by Veronica Delaney, our Assistant Athletic Director for Strength and Conditioning, this session uses engaging fitness circuits, teamwork challenges, and interactive wellness activities to help students develop coordination, endurance, and healthy habits in a fun, supportive environment. Participants learn how movement can be a powerful tool for stress relief, resilience, and self-care while gaining skills they can carry into everyday life. 

Vocal Voyage: Navigate the Melodies of Music

Program Leader: Camille Cintas, Choir Director

Step into the spotlight with Lumina Voce—Presentation High School's premier choral training experience for aspiring singers! This unique workshop offers middle school students the chance to develop foundational vocal skills, including breathing techniques, vowel placement, and rhythm. Over five sessions, participants will prepare to join the Presentation High School Choirs in a memorable concert on April 16th.  Guided by expert conductor Ms. Cintas, choristers will gain confidence, build friendships, and experience the thrill of singing on stage with professional accompaniment.
