A Pres Education is More Affordable Than You Think.

We recognize an independent school education is a significant financial commitment, an investment that lasts a lifetime. To ensure that Presentation is affordable for families, we offer a robust tuition assistance program that meets a wide range of financial circumstances. Our blind admissions process guarantees all eligible students can attend our school, no matter their financial situation.

Textbook fees are not included in the tuition. Funds are available to assist with this expense for those who qualify.

Please note participation in our student fundraising efforts and support of the Panther Fund are expected.

Tuition Assistance

It is in keeping with the philosophy of our school we do all we can to ensure that families who qualify for tuition assistance receive it. This year, approximately 25% of the student body is receiving tuition assistance. The per capita award is among the largest in the Diocese of San Jose. More information about applying will be available soon.

Scholarships

Presentation is proud to offer two scholarships for incoming freshman students. These scholarships are awarded to students who exemplify the characteristics outlined below. The admissions review committee will determine which students are selected to receive these scholarships upon review of the incoming class applications. If selected, these awards are guaranteed for four years as long as students remain in good standing. An additional scholarship is available through Bay Scholars for under-resourced Bay Area students.

Presidential Scholarship

The Presidential Scholarship is awarded to students who exhibit academic excellence. The number of awards and the award amounts are determined by the Admission Committee each year.

To be considered for this award, students must have a GPA equal to or greater than 4.0, have above-standard scores on standardized tests, and have excellent rankings and outstanding remarks on their letter of recommendation(s).

Panther Pride Scholarship

The Panther Pride Scholarship is presented to students who embody Presentation's Mission, Not Words, But Deeds. The number of awards and the award amounts are determined by the Admissions review committee.

Students who possess the following qualities will be considered for this scholarship- unique demonstrations of leadership and innovation, dedication to service and helping others, a commitment to their faith and personal development, and other factors. This award helps ensure that our selected class is well-rounded, diverse, and talented.

Bay Scholars

Bay Scholars exists to make it possible for promising under-resourced scholars across the Bay to have access to and flourish at successful private college preparatory high schools. The 4-year scholarship makes college-prep high schools a reality for scholars. This scholarship totals $14,000 - divided up over the recipient's 4 years of high school.

Applications are available on the Bay Scholars website and are due Friday, February 2, 2024. Scholarship recipients will be notified after Friday, March 15, 2024.

Tuition Timeline

December/January

The process for tuition assistance begins in December of the 8th grade year when a family completes the online tuition assistance application. The 2025-2026 tuition assistance application will be available in December.

Returning families must re-apply for tuition assistance each year in December. Tuition assistance is not guaranteed annually; it is subject to review and approval each year.

February

The Tuition Assistance application deadline is February 3, 2025.

Late or incomplete applications will result in less or no tuition assistance awarded to qualified families. If your taxes are not complete by the deadline, you may submit the application with the previous year's tax return and current W-2s. As soon as your current taxes are complete, provide a copy to FACTS.

At the end of February, we begin to assess the applications. Families who qualify and have met the deadlines will be awarded tuition assistance.

March

Once a student has been accepted to Presentation, a non-refundable payment of $1,650 is collected to hold their spot. This payment includes a tuition deposit of $1,500 and a registration fee of $150. The $1,500 deposit is deducted from the overall tuition amount for the year. Deposits and registration fees for incoming freshmen are due by midnight on March 25, 2025.
