Tuition & Financial Aid
Presentation High School is committed to serving young women from all economic backgrounds.
The Admissions Office operates independently from the Business Department and does not consider a family's financial status in enrollment decisions. Presentation High School admits students of any race, color and national or ethnic origin.
It is in keeping with the philosophy of the school that we do all we can to ensure that families who qualify for financial aid receive it. This year, approximately 19% of the student body is on scholarship, equating to more than $2,100,000 in aid. The per capita award is among the largest in the Diocese of San Jose.
The 2018-2019 financial aid application is available by clicking here. All applicants must submit the online application. Students who currently receive aid must reapply each year.
The deadline to submit the online application and supporting documentation to FACTS is February 5, 2018.
Only one application is required for all children in the family that attend Catholic private schools in the Diocese of San Jose. Be sure to list each child and corresponding school on your application. Incoming Freshmen should list all the high schools they would like to be considered for financial aid. If you fill out a FACTS application from another schools site (elementary or high school) be sure to list Presentation High School so we will receive the assessment information from FACTS. Note that school deadlines may differ so you must still meet our February 5 deadline.
TuitionTuition for the 2017-2018 school year is $19,580.
We estimate an annual increase of approximately five percent.
Textbook and classroom fees are educational expenses and are not included in the tuition. Funds are available to assist with these expenses for those who qualify.
Please note that participation in our Magazine Drive fundraiser is mandatory, and support of the Office of Advancement is expected.
The process for tuition assistance begins in December/January of the 8th grade year when a family completes the online financial aid application. The 2018-2019 application is available now by clicking here.
The deadline for applying to FACTS is Feb. 5, 2018. The cost is $27 per family payable to FACTS. Late or incomplete applications will result in less or no financial aid awarded to qualified families. If your taxes are not complete by the deadline, you may submit the application with the previous year's tax return and current W-2s. As soon as your current taxes are complete, provide a copy to FACTS.
At the end of February, we begin to assess financial aid. Families who qualify and have met the deadlines will be awarded financial aid.
Once a student has been accepted to Presentation, a non-refundable tuition deposit of $1,500 and a non-refundable registration fee of $100 are collected. The $1,500 deposit is deducted from the overall tuition amount for the year. Deposits and registration fees for incoming freshmen are due by 4:00 p.m. on March 27.
