In this retelling of one of Shakespeare's most popular comedies, A Midsummer Night's Dream is told through the lens of ancient Japan.

2017-18 ProductionsSynopsis

Based on the dystopian classic by George Orwell,1984 brings us to a world 40 years after the end of the second world war, and a few years after the so-called Atomic Wars. Citizens endure a squalid existence in the totalitarian superstate of Oceania, under the constant surveillance of the Thought Police.




Working, The Musical is a down-to-earth yet elevating musical that features songs that are based on real interviews. In this musical, twenty-six workers, including a delivery truck driver, corporate executive, schoolteacher, stone mason, housewife, fireman, waitress, mill worker, sailor, etc., sing and talk about their jobs. These songs not only describe their daily routine, but their hopes and aspirations as well. Based on Studs Terkel's best-selling book, with music by James Taylor, Stephen Swartz, Susan Birkenhead, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mary Rodgers and Micki Grant. Presented by TADA! and the Blue Plaid Players.
A cast of 45 actors and a crew of 17 technicians presented this heartfelt and entertaining musical about a girl in a provincial French town who "is nothing like the rest of us" but longs to find acceptance. She meets a prince who has been turned into a beast due to his selfish nature. Only true love can break the spell, and nightly the story ended happily for all, including our appreciative audiences who enjoyed the powerhouse performances of our talented theater students.


Disney's High School Musical is fun for the whole family. Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High must deal with issues of first love, friends and family while balancing their classes and extracurricular activities. Featuring a cast of 43 students.
