It's a great day to be a Panther!
Nearly half of all Presentation students participate in our athletics program, which has a rich tradition of excellence in the competitive West Catholic Athletic League. The Panthers have collected numerous WCAL and Central Coast Section championships. Presentation's exceptional program has produced Olympians, college stars and top-notch professional coaches. We are proud to be part of this school's dedication to teaching young women about leadership, initiative, self-discipline and teamwork.

Our student-athletes are stewards of the school mission and are active in giving back to the community. Please contact the Athletic Department Staff if you are interested in Presentation student-athletes volunteering with your organization.

Presentation High School Names Mike West Athletic Director

SAN JOSE, May 26, 2022 -- Presentation is thrilled to announce Mike West as Presentation’s next Athletic Director.  Mike comes to Presentation from St. Luke’s School in New Canaan, Connecticut where he served as the Director of Athletics & Physical Education since 2014.  While at St. Luke’s, Mr. West oversaw the school’s 20 varsity programs, consisting of 50+ teams, more than 65 coaches and over 400 student-athletes.

Before relocating to Connecticut, he worked at Bellarmine College Preparatory, serving as the Athletic Director from 2010-2014. Mike is an experienced and mission-centered educational leader who brings important experience to this role at Presentation. His experience with the WCAL coupled with his inclusive, mission-driven approach to athletic program leadership is exactly aligned with the vision for Pres Athletics - to cultivate a healthy environment for student-athletes to grow, find success at a competitive level, and build lifelong skills and friendships, all within the Presentation mission and charism.

“It's an honor to be named the Athletic Director at Presentation. The rich tradition of Panther athletics, combining a focus on individual empowerment and collective growth, is a journey I can't wait to be part of,” said Mike. “Having worked with Kristina Luscher for 7 years while at Bellarmine, I am so excited to be part of the leadership team focused on empowering the next generation of female leaders through an outstanding Presentation experience.”

Mike completed the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business Executive Leadership Program, and holds a Master’s degree in education from National University and Bachelor’s degree in Geography from U.C. Berkeley where he was a four-year water polo athlete. Mike and his family are relocating back to California this summer and he begins at Presentation on August 8.
