Sport & Human Performance
Sport and Human Performance is designed to advance students' understanding of relationships among movement, exercise and skills that occur in the contexts of development, learning, rehabilitation, and training. Guiding individuals through exercises regiments that promote an active lifestyle for the duration of their life.
As a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Jack integrates his knowledge to design an individualized, progressive program of cardiovascular, mobility, core, and strength training exercises for athletes based on their individual goals and sport. The main focus of the program is to master the foundation of the human body to enhance athletic performance and to build a foundation for further athletic improvements. Jack is a firm believer in utilizing Strength & Conditioning to protect athletes from injuries and improve strength & athletic ability.
Jack is a native of San Jose and attended Archbishop Mitty High School. He continued his educational and athletic career playing basketball at Saint Mary’s College of California where he developed his passion for athletic performance and the movement of the human body. Jack holds a B.S. in Psychology from Saint Mary’s College of California. In addition, he also received his Masters in Education and Single Subject Teaching Credential from Cal State Monterey Bay. He currently has his own Strength & Conditioning business and works with a variety of clients and sports programs in the Bay Area.
