Varsity Head Coach: Elizabeth (Liz) Forney

Bio: Coach Liz graduated from Jim Elliot (Christian) High School in 2009, after running varsity cross country for four years and competing at the CIF State Championships three of those years. She then attended Biola University, where she received her degree in Biological Sciences. Unable to run cross country in college, due to an ACL injury, she continued running as a personal hobby and eventually went on to run 9 marathons including the Chicago Marathon, California International Marathon, and even a team relay race from Santa Monica, California to Las Vegas, Nevada. When she isn't training, she can be found hiking one of the many trails in San Jose with her husband and Golden Retriever.
