Fall 2021 Reopening Update

We are thrilled to announce that we are planning for a full return to in-person instruction 5 days/week this fall. Education at Presentation is transformative and immersive, and our graduation outcomes that focus on developing the whole person are best delivered and experienced in person.  Updated guidance from the state, paired with the availability of vaccinations and testing make the plan for a full return possible.

Important Next Steps:

  • Vaccination Reporting:  Santa Clara County encourages all those eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine to be vaccinated as soon as possible in advance of special events this spring and a return to in-person instruction in the fall.  The COVID-19 vaccination will not be required to attend Presentation in the fall, however, we do ask that you report if your daughter has been vaccinated as that helps us plan the extent to which we must conservatively mitigate risk in the fall.  Please the form sent to you via email to report your daughter’s vaccination status. 

  • Medical Leave Requests: Students will be required to return to school for in-person instruction in the fall. If your daughter will be unable to attend school in person due to an extenuating medical circumstance, please contact Nancy Taylor, Vice Principal of Student Services by TODAY, May 14th. You will be required to provide medical documentation stating that she cannot attend school with the reason and anticipated duration.

There are several free vaccination clinics available in Gilroy (see this document for more information).

Requests for In-Person Instruction

We have limited space available on campus for additional students to return to in-person instruction for the last few weeks of school. If your daughter is interested in returning, please contact Nancy Taylor, Vice Principal of Student Services, who will review your daughter’s schedule to confirm we have a space for her in each of her classes. Please note that requests take approximately 1 week to become approved and finalized.
