Swim To Remember

Swim to raise money for Claire Buscher Memorial Scholarship and Bay Area Cancer Connections!

Come join us in January to honor the memory of beloved teacher Claire Buscher and to raise money for breast cancer research.

Held every year, Presentation’s Swim to Remember event is a swim-a-thon that begins at the first ray of sunlight and ends when the sun sets. Each lap completed by our swimmers earns a donation from one of her sponsors. Many of our swimmers have been personally affected by breast cancer. This event is a way they can honor those fighting or who have lost their battle.

The event itself got its start after Claire Buscher lost her brave battle with breast cancer. Just months before succumbing to breast cancer, Buscher continued to show up at Presentation to administer the school’s work scholarship. Her tenacity, grace and determination led the school to found the Swim to Remember event, with proceeds benefiting the Claire Buscher Memorial Scholarship and Bay Area Cancer Connections.
