Community Involvement Campus Ministry Religious Studies

At Presentation High School, students are encouraged to become women of faith, dedicated to working for others, intellectually competent, and committed to their personal growth.

Guided by the charism of Nano Nagle and the Presentation Sisters, Campus Ministry, Community Involvement, and the Religious Studies Department work together to instill the Presentation motto: "Not Words, But Deeds." In every aspect of their lives at Presentation, it is our challenge to not only help our students decide what they will become after high school, but who they will become.

Led by our dedicated faculty and staff, our programs promote the dignity of every human person in a multifaceted way. Our classes engage students in critical thinking around Scripture and contemporary moral topics. Students are enrolled in a religious studies classroom for seven of their eight semesters and develop the tools to examine the world around them through the lens of the Gospel.

Our Masses, prayer services, and retreats call students to discern their personal vocation and the need to promote the image of God in all people. The recognition of our different faith traditions encourage us to form partnerships, create dialogue, and provide students the opportunities to pray and learn from each other. All students are welcome to join our Peer Ministry program to foster and develop the tools to become faith leaders in their homes, college campuses, and places of worship.

Our service opportunities, immersion trips, and fundraising traditions take their cue from a firm belief that authentic encounters with other people are best motivated by a student’s desire to do this work. There are no required school wide service hours or required immersion programs. The work of Community Involvement is best accomplished when students approach our mission with authentic curiosity guided by a spirit of compassion and a desire to learn from the marginalized communities in our local and global community.

We hope you will take the time to explore our offerings and please do not hesitate to get in touch with our team.
