Mission Drive

Presentation High School's Mission Drive focuses on the foreign missions of the Sisters of the Presentation living and working with impoverished communities in Nicaragua and Guatemala.

Goals

Our goal is to raise $15,000.

Funds raised through this annual drive are used to buy school supplies, food, textbooks and shoes for children as well as support health education for adults.

This year, our class levels will be fundraising to fill the following needs:

  • Freshmen: Shoes for students in Nicaragua and Guatemala
  • Sophomores: Facility needs (including new roofing, tables and chairs, internet)
  • Juniors: Scholarships in Nicaragua
  • Seniors: Scholarships in Guatemala

How It Works

For six weeks each spring, students hold bake sales and movie nights, sell food and crafts, stage concerts and races, and much, much more in order to raise funds to support the international missions of our Presentation Sisters. We encourage students to be creative when thinking of fundraising ideas. Not only do we want to offer financial support to these missions, but we also strive to educate our school and larger community about the work being done and the people impacted by them.
