Drives
At Presentation, we strive to connect our school community more deeply with our local and international communities. One way we do this is through our annual Holiday Drives, which take place prior to Thanksgiving and Christmas and benefit Sacred Heart Community Service . Another is through our Mission Drive in the spring, which raises money for our Sisters of the Presentation abroad. Our goal with these drives is to build closer relationships with our neighbors and to create an inherent desire among our students to end the injustice of poverty.

Holiday Drives
| Food Drive | November |
In preparation for Thanksgiving, students spend time canvassing neighborhoods to collect thousands of cans of food, hygiene items, baby items, and other goods, along with hundreds of turkeys for Sacred Heart Community Service in San Jose and other local agencies. |
| Penny Drive | December |
Directly following Thanksgiving, students rally together to raise more than $10,000 worth of coins, checks and bills. Money raised helps Sacred Heart Community Service purchase perishable groceries and fund other programs, including the Clothes Closet, Job Placement Program, the Day Care Center and the Homework Club. |
| Mission Drive | Spring |
During Mission Drive, students make crafts, sell baked goods and organize fundraisers to raise money for the ministries of the Sisters of the Presentation located here in the Bay Area and across the U.S. Sacred Heart is in need of gift cards (suggested $20 gift cards to Target or Walmart). These may be brought to Presentation on any donation drop-off day. |
