Dear Presentation Families,

As part of our commitment to meaningful, mission-aligned learning, all students are required to complete summer reading based on the Social Science course they will be enrolled in for the 2025–2026 school year. If you have any questions, please reach out to a class-level teacher.

New Parent Coffee – June 23

We’re excited to welcome our newest Panthers! We invite all new parents—freshman and transfer families—to join us for a New Parent Coffee on Monday, June 23 at 9 am in Room 10.

Whether you're dropping off your student for Pres Preview Week—our signature orientation experience for incoming students—or simply looking to connect, this is a great opportunity to meet fellow parents, chat with staff, and start building the community that makes Pres so special.

Not registered for Pres Preview Week yet? There’s still time! This program is designed for incoming freshmen and runs from June 23–27. It’s full of fun, friendship, and Panther spirit. Register here.

Bookstore Opening on Monday, July 7!

Textbook requirements for the 2025-2026 school year are now available on our website! Presentation has partnered with BNC K-12 Services/MBS to supply the majority of course requirements. This is the quickest and most complete process to purchase most of your students’ print and digital items all at once. 
 
This year, you can find the list of required textbooks on our website and buy them at our online Bookstore link. Soon, you'll be able to search for your textbooks using your student ID in the Bookstore's dropdown menu.

Digital Book Notice: All digital books must be purchased using the student's school email address. Please make sure the books are ready to download to the student's iPad.
 
MBS will offer FREE SHIPPING from July 7–July 21 for orders over $99. Please email textbooks@presentationhs.org if you have any questions.

New Student Orientation

All Freshmen and transfer students will attend orientation on Tuesday, August 12th.

Check-in for orientation begins at 8:30 a.m., and the official programming for the day is from 8:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch will be provided for all students. More details will be provided to students’ Pres email in August.

International Trips 2025–2026: Key Details

Spain Exchange Program

- For Spanish students (Level 3+).
- Cultural exchange with GSD School in Buitrago del Lozoya.
- Live in dorms, attend classes, and explore Madrid.
- When: February 2026 (exact dates TBD).
Destination: Buitrago del Lozoya, Spain
- Info session: Back to School Night + follow-up meeting (TBD).

Senegal Service Learning Trip

- Open to all students in grades 9–11 (no seniors).
- Focus on cultural immersion, community service, and leadership.
- Organized with WorldStrides for a safe, enriching experience.
When: June 1–10, 2026
- Destination: Senegal, West Africa
Info session: Wednesday, September 3 at 6:30 p.m.

Caltrain Connector Pass – $765 (Aug–May)
Includes morning pick-up only from San Jose Diridon Station.

ATHLETICS

Summer Athletics Updates

Contest schedules for Fall sports are now available on the Presentation website! A few more events will be added once confirmed, and golf matches are still to be finalized in August.

Later in the summer (target is the week of July 7th), we will post the Fall sports tryout schedule. For your early planning, all 7 of our Fall sports tryouts (Cross Country, Field Hockey, Flag Football, Golf, Tennis, Volleyball, and Water Polo) will begin on Monday, August 11th. It is expected that all students interested in participating in a fall sport will attend all tryout sessions the week of 8/11/25. 

All students trying out for a school sport must complete the Magnus Health online package, including a valid annual physical examination, before the start of the season. Be sure to check the date of your student's physical now to ensure there is no gap in Presentation holding a valid physical on file.

CLASS OF 2029 (Freshmen)

Freshman Mixer

Get excited for your first-ever high school mixer! The Freshmen mixer is on Friday, September 5th from 7:30-10:00 pm at Pres. This mixer is for high school freshmen only from any school and is a fun way to kick off your first year of high school. Freshmen students that do not attend a Catholic school in the diocese of San Jose will need to obtain a guest pass and attend the mixer as the guest of a current Pres Freshmen.

Class Level Info

New Student Orientation

Class of 2029 T-Shirt & Sweatshirt 

Every Freshman Student will receive a Class of 2029 shirt at Orientation in August. Please pre-order your shirt so that we can have your requested size by completing this form.

Do you want to design your freshman class shirt & sweatshirt?  

If so, please submit your design to this form. All design submissions are due June 18, 2025. Please email any questions about this to Mrs. Colvin at scolvin@presentationhs.org.

Shirt design must include the following:

  • Class year (Class of 2029)
  • Presentation High School or PHS
  • Shirt must be blue, white or gray
  • Maximum 2 colors for text/ graphics (black, white, yellow, blue or gray)
  • Design must be submitted as an image file (jpg)

Class Sweatshirt: Sweatshirts will be sold in the Lantern Locker by presale only. Look for an email this summer with the winning design and order information.

Freshman Retreat Registration – Now Open!

We are so excited to welcome your daughters to our Presentation community! As part of their journey, all freshmen participate in a special retreat designed to help them build meaningful connections, grow in faith, and feel a true sense of belonging from the very start. This day-long retreat is a cherished tradition and a wonderful opportunity for your daughter to bond with her classmates, reflect on the transition to high school, and be reminded that she is deeply valued and supported here at Pres.

CLASS OF 2028 (Sophomores)

Get excited for Sophomore Splash — a pool party to kick off the new school year for the class of 2028. This is a fun opportunity to reconnect with your classmates before the start of your sophomore year.  This party is at the PHS pool on Friday, August 8th from 3:00-5:00pm and is open to all members of the class of 2028. Senior Sunrise

Seniors, save the date for your Senior Sunrise on Wednesday, 8/13/25, students can arrive at 6:15 AM to the Presentation field.  More information will be provided in your Pres email in August.

Senior Class Shirts

Every Senior will receive a senior class shirt. Please submit your information to this form so you can receive your preferred size.

Want to design your Senior class shirt? If so, please submit your design to this form.

Shirt design must include the following:

  • Class year (Class of 2026)
  • Presentation High School or PHS
  • Shirt color: Class color or blue, white or gray
  • Maximum 2 colors for text/ graphics 
  • Design must be submitted as an image file (jpg)
  • Please avoid copyright infringement in all designs (this means we can't put any copyrighted images on the shirt, including pictures of your mascot)

FAITH AND JUSTICE

In a world that seems incredibly demanding, distracting, and fast, Campus Ministry encourages students to take time out to stop, reflect on their faith, and to build community with their peers.

We offer retreats for each class level to support students in personal spiritual growth, to encourage reflection that leads to gratitude, and to strengthen relationships. Students of all faiths are welcome and encouraged to lead and to participate in retreats.

All Presentation’s retreats are free and are open to and enhanced by students of all faith traditions and experiences. Space is limited, so register now using one of the following registration links:
