On-Campus
Prior to the DEEDS Program, Pres students participated in internships on-campus through the “Student Volunteer Internship Program” or “SVIP”. The DEEDS Program builds on this work by matching interested students from any grade level with Pres departments in need of entry-level, administrative, technical, and operational support.
On-Campus Opportunities
Scheduling: Internships are scheduled around class time—before, between, or after—typically lasting 2-4 hours on a weekly, biweekly, or mutually agreed-upon basis.
Duration: Placements may be short-term, project-based experiences or extend across a semester or the full academic year.

Summer Internships
Summer Internships allows you to join a company team to work on real-world projects. With a high time commitment (4+ weeks), it is a great way to gain practical experience, build your resume, and receive mentorship from industry professionals.

Job Shadowing
Job shadowing lets you observe a professional during a typical "day-in-the-life” for 1– 2 weeks. It gives you an up-close look at a career in action to help you see what a specific role is really like.
