The mission of the Presentation Music Program is to provide well-rounded music education to musicians of all backgrounds. Pres Music will inspire students to discover their musical identity, participate in communal music making, and become musical leaders in their homes, schools, and communities.

Bella Voce is Presentation's premier vocal ensemble that meets during 4th period. Choristers will be exposed to 3-4 part choral repertoire in a variety of languages, genres and styles, accompanied and unaccompanied.
Bella Voce has performed at many festivals and competitions, including CMEA, World Stride Performing Arts, CASMEC and Music in the Parks. The mission of Bella Voce is to represent Presentation High School with musicality, excellence, and joy. Auditioners should showcase high competency in sight singing and vocal technique, and be available to represent Pres both on and off campus.

Tri-M Music Honor Society is a program supported by NAfME, the National Association for Music Education. Tri-M is about creating a space on school campuses for music advocacy and community service. Student members of the Presentation High School chapter meet monthly to plan community service projects, advocate for the growth of Pres Music, and celebrate each other's musical accomplishments.
Applicants must be an active member in a Pres Music ensemble (Bella Voce, A Cappella, or Mass Hysteria), maintain a B grade point average, and perform a musical solo or oral report on a musical topic in front of the other members for induction.
A Cappella is Presentation's non-auditioned choral ensemble that meets after school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3:15pm to 4pm. A Cappella choristers will sing a variety of 2-3 part choral repertoire in different languages, genres and styles.
A Cappella often joins Bella Voce in representing Presentation on and off campus, such as singing the National Anthem at sporting events, or singing carols at San Jose City's Christmas in the Park. A Cappella is open to all skill levels of singers.
Mass Hysteria is a co-product of both Pres Music and Campus Ministry. Musicians commit to one rehearsal a month, and serve at our monthly Mass assemblies.
These students are invited a few times a school year to travel to San Francisco to fellowship with the Sisters of the Presentation. Musicians of all skill levels are invited to join Mass Hysteria.
Every Spring, Pres Music offers a Middle School Choir Workshop that culminates in a featured performance during the Spring Choir Concert with Bella Voce and A Cappella.
Choristers who sign up for Vocal Voyage will learn basic vocal technique, be exposed to various types of choral repertoire, and form fun memories with their fellow singers. More information can be found here.
