Black & White Charity Ball

Saturday, October 14, 2023

Black and White Charity Ball is a Presentation tradition started in 1989 by the Community Involvement Program of Presentation to raise money for Sacred Heart Community Service. Black & White marks the beginning of Presentation’s Food Drive! Last year, we raised over $30,000 and donated 18,295 hygiene items, 9,306 baby diapers, 13,573 canned goods, and 1,023 of combined frozen turkeys, chickens, and hams. Over $17,000 of our monetary donations to Sacred Heart came directly from Black & White Charity Ball ticket sales last year.

Black & White is a semi-formal evening for students that includes dancing, sweet treats, an outdoor movie, activities, and lawn games. This semi-formal is a time for the entire Presentation student body to come together with guests for a night of fun that supports the growing needs of our local community.

This year’s dance is Saturday, October 14 from 7:45–11 p.m. at Presentation High School. Presentation students are able to purchase a single ticket or a couples ticket for the event. With a couples ticket, your student can bring a date from another local high school. Many students also decide to purchase a single ticket and share the night with their Presentation friends. Due to our long standing relationship with Bellarmine we have offered them an opportunity to join in on the fun. Bellarmine students are able to purchase a single ticket for this event.

If you have any additional questions, please contact Grace Bernal, Director of Service & Immersion.

Parent Support

We strive to make this a special night for all attendees. In order to do so, we need parent support to help supplement some of the costs of the dance. Please consider donating items from our Black & White Wishlist or serving as a volunteer to help make this an unforgettable night.

We are expecting this year’s event to be a huge success, but we cannot do it alone! We are currently looking for parent volunteers before, during, and after the event. You can sign up to volunteer here

We are collecting dessert items for a dessert bar, you can sign up to bring in food here.

In order to minimize costs, we are asking you, the parents, to consider helping us through ordering from our Amazon Wish List. This allows us to donate all dance proceeds to Sacred Heart.
