International Thespian Society

Presentation's Theater Department extends far beyond our two major productions, thanks to our drama club. Troupe 4368 of the International Thespian Society churns out a season of productions that keep our theater lit virtually all year. Presentation students have the chance to produce, direct, design, and even write their own musical.

Since 1929, more than two million students have been honored for excellence in theater arts by being invited to join the International Thespian Society. In order to become an ITS member, the student must earn points through participation in PHS theater activities.

The ITS season begins with the annual September production of Snip-ITS, an evening of one-act plays and "short-attention-span" skits.

Concert for Hope

October's Concert for Hope benefits a different cause each year.

Musical Snip-ITS

In February, we enjoy Musical Snip-ITS. In the spring is this club's marquee event, a full-length production created entirely by students. Past productions have included the musical "Once on this Island," as well as the plays "The Laramie Project" and "Steel Magnolias."
