Jazba

Presentation’s South Asian Dance Team named “Jazba” is an after-school, co-curricular activity that provides opportunities for students to learn a variety of South Asian dance styles and perform them across the Bay Area at numerous high school showcases. The team builds skills for creative thinking, time management, leadership, and team collaboration while forming a welcoming community for students to share their ethnic backgrounds and traditions.

Performances occur in San Jose, Fremont, Milpitas, Dublin, Pleasanton, and at UC Berkeley.

Auditions take place a week before the start of the school year in August. Interest forms are sent out 1-2 months before the audition date where students may sign up for the workshops and audition.
