Academic Classes: Remote students will be required to log into class for the duration of every class session. Because the summer session condenses a whole semester of curriculum into a short and intense course of study, students may only miss 1 of the 14 days of a term and still earn course credit. Students who are unwell or are otherwise unable to attend in person may attend a limited number of days remotely with the permission of the Summer School Administration. Final exams will not be given early.
All Classes: If your student is absent due to illness, tardiness, appointment or any other reason, a parent must contact the attendance office within 30 minutes of the class’s start time. Any student arriving late or leaving early must report to or contact the attendance office to sign-in or sign-out. A parent note or phone call to the attendance office is required for students missing class time. Students who are unwell or are otherwise unable to attend in person may attend a limited number of days remotely with the permission of the Summer School Administration.
