Pres Edgenuity Courses

We are partnering with Edgenuity to provide additional on-line, teacher-supported instruction. These courses are flexible and self-paced! All courses are 9-weeks long and need to be completed by July 23rd. These classes are UC/CSU approved and NCAA accredited.

Who can take these courses?
1. Presentation HS students who need to remediate a deficient grade of D or F can do so by successfully completing this course with a C- or higher.
2. Presentation HS students MAY NOT take these courses for advancement
3. Non-Presentation HS students should check with their schools about eligibility for advancement or remediation.

Academic Course Absences

Academic Classes: Remote students will be required to log into class for the duration of every class session. Because the summer session condenses a whole semester of curriculum into a short and intense course of study, students may only miss 1 of the 14 days of a term and still earn course credit. Students who are unwell or are otherwise unable to attend in person may attend a limited number of days remotely with the permission of the Summer School Administration. Final exams will not be given early.

All Classes: If your student is absent due to illness, tardiness, appointment or any other reason, a parent must contact the attendance office within 30 minutes of the class’s start time. Any student arriving late or leaving early must report to or contact the attendance office to sign-in or sign-out. A parent note or phone call to the attendance office is required for students missing class time. Students who are unwell or are otherwise unable to attend in person may attend a limited number of days remotely with the permission of the Summer School Administration. Final exams will not be given early.

Advancement & Remediation

Refund Policy

For 3-Week Academic Classes: $75 of the course fee is nonrefundable. Refunds (minus the $75) will be given for classes dropped three weeks prior to their start date. Cancellations closer to the class start date will not be refunded.

All Other Classes/Camps: $50 of the course fee is nonrefundable. Refunds (minus the $50) will be given for class/camps dropped three weeks prior to their start date. Cancellations closer to the class/camp start date will not be refunded.
Presentation High School reserves the right to cancel any class/camps. There will be no charge for classes/camps cancelled by Presentation.

No exceptions will be made to our above policies. No refunds will be given for absences. No pro-rates for missed sessions. Refund requests must be submitted in writing or by e-mail to: Summer School Administration at summerschool@presentationhs.org or Denise Rooney, Athletic Office Assistant at drooney@presentationhs.org.

Presentation High School reserves the right to cancel any class/camp for which insufficient numbers register. There will be no charge for classes/camps cancelled due to lack of enrollment.

COVID-19 Safety

Summer at Pres will be hosted on our beautiful Presentation High School campus, located in the heart of the safe neighborhood of Willow Glen. The health of our community, students, faculty and staff remains our first priority. We strictly follow all CDC and county guidelines and requirements for sanitization, social distancing, and screening to slow the spread of COVID-19. Due to county guidelines some classes may need to transition to a hybrid model, where students will rotate which days they participate in the classroom versus online. In the case that county restrictions prohibit in-person learning, Summer at Pres is fully equipped and ready to transition to fully online class formats. You are entitled to a full refund if the class is no longer offered in the format you desire, or in the rare instance of a class cancellation.
