"A mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take." -Cardinal MerlillodOur organization, Loving Alumnae Mothers of Presentation (LAMP) is dedicated to carrying on the tradition of "Not Words, But Deeds" motto of Presentation High School by providing social, spiritual and service activities to mutually benefit its members and the Presentation community. LAMP continues the friendships established at Presentation and lights the path for future generations of Pres moms.
The Book Club meets the last Thursday of every other month. A selection list of approximately twenty books is complied from The New York Times Best Seller List, The San Jose Mercury News Best Seller List, Barnes and Noble web site and input from the group. Each member chooses their top 3 and the book with the most choices is the one selected as the next read.

The craft group has enjoyed making a variety of crafts. We've learned to knit, made Halloween and Thanksgiving cards, designed Christmas gift tags, and made Origami scrapbooks, to name a few. No experience is needed and a good time and laughs are guaranteed. Check the calendar for dates and times.

- Party Favor boxes for Holidays and favors

The hiking group goes on local walks and hikes in the Bay Area. The Los Gatos trail and Almaden trails are two of the areas this group has explored. Check the calendar for dates and times.
The movie group meets once a month to see the latest releases of what we like to refer to as "chick flicks". These are the movies our husbands don't usually want to see! Also, depending on the time of the year, we will be attending plays at Presentation High School,listen to a female speaker in downtown San Jose at the Unique Lives series or see a seasonal performance that is directed toward women. This group meets once per month to plan a variety of activities for the group. Previous activities have included a tour of Harley Farms, Heath Ceramics, Annieglass, the Golden Gate Bridge, Elephant Seals, Lula’s Chocolates, various gallery exhibits etc.
Membership is open to all mothers, stepmothers and guardians of Presentation alumnae who do not have a daughter currently attending Presentation High School. The annual membership fee is $25. The membership period is August 1 – July 31. Click here to register.
