How to Volunteer

We have established two levels of volunteer roles to ensure the safety of our students.

Level 1 – Panther Volunteer
Overview: Volunteers in this role will always be in the presence of school employees or other volunteers.

Requirements: Requires you to fill out the PHS Volunteer Form, which includes signing the Code of Conduct for Professional Boundaries (link below).

If you plan to spend more than 20 total hours around students during the school year, you must also complete a Tuberculosis (TB) Risk Assessment with a licensed health care provider.

When arriving on campus, these individuals must check in at the front office and receive a name tag before their volunteer shift.

Level 2 – Panther Partner
Overview: Volunteers who may be unaccompanied with students or responsible for driving them.

Requirements: Requires 1) filling out the PHS Volunteer Form and signing the Code of Conduct for Professional Boundaries (link below), 2) complete a Live Scan fingerprinting, and 3) complete Virtus training.

If you plan to spend more than 20 total hours around students during the school year, you must also complete a Tuberculosis (TB) Risk Assessment with a licensed health care provider.

Once cleared, you do not need to be accompanied by school employees for your volunteer shift.

When arriving on campus, these individuals must check in at the front office and receive a name tag before their volunteer shift.
